FAQs
1. What is your fee?
This entirely depends on the nature of your event. Factors such as location, amount of guests (determines equipment needed), and playing time are all taken into consideration. As a guide, if you wanted me to play solo piano for your wedding ceremony, prices start at around £90.
Yes, of course! I use the latest GPS technology to arrive at all engagements in plenty of time and have not let anyone down in all the years I have been in the business!
Anywhere in UK or abroad.
4.Do you have P.A.T certificate?
Yes, all of my electrical equipment has been PAT tested. This is becoming increasingly requested by venues across the country.
5.What sort of music do you play?
Every event is different and I will adapt my style to suit the occasion. The style suitable for most functions is an ambient cocktail type of playing which often includes popular songs many of the guests will recognize. If you have booked me as part of a band, the music could be more upbeat either in the background or as something to dance to. I am very flexible when it comes to repertoire and ask you of choice of music on your booking form so both you and I know well in advance what to expect!
Once you have decided you want to make a booking, I will send you a booking form/contract which requests a deposit of usually 30% which you should return as soon as possible. You can then pay the balance either in cash at the start of your function, or a cheque ten working days prior to your function.
7.There isn't a piano at my venue'
If there is not a piano available at the venue, I will bring my own portable electric stage piano.Grand and upright piano hire is available upon request.
8.How far in advance do I need to book?
I recommend you make a booking as soon as the date and venue of your event is confirmed.
Most of the work I do is for private functions but I also play at events/gigs across the country that are open to the public. It's best to contact me and then I can let you know if I'm playing near you.
